The bird Atlas of Asti (Piedmont, Italy) is the first project related to the study of birds in this municipality. The study area (151 km2) has been divided into 204 quadrants 1x1 km. Preliminary results obtained thanks to the collaboration of 15 observers, showed the presence of 156 species, and many new sightings for the area, both during the breeding and wintering periods.
