The Regional Park of Montevecchia and the Curone Valley is located in Lombardy, in the heart of the Lecco Brianza region, about 30 km from Milan and 20 km from Lecco. Established in 1983, after the recent enlargement in 2019 it occupies a total area of about 2,970 hectares in the territory of the following municipalities, all belonging to the province of Lecco: Cernusco Lombardone, La Valletta Brianza, Lomagna, Merate, Missaglia, Montevecchia, Olgiate Molgora, Osnago, Sirtori and Viganò. Censuses carried out from 1998 to May 2022, documented both by herbarium samples and the records published on the park's website, have made it possible to recognise.... [...]
