Gli autori descrivono due nuove specie di Peliocypadina Basilewsky, 1984: Peliocypas tagliaferrii n. sp. del Gabon e Demetriola maculata n. sp. del Madagascar. Sono fornite le fotografie relative all’habitus delle nuove specie e i caratteri diagnostici per la distinzione delle stesse dalle specie affini.
