The Library of the Museum of Natural History and Aquarium of Milan possesses approximately 3,200 geographical, topographical, and geological maps. In the present catalog, 630 geological maps related to the Italian territory, with particular regard to Lombardy, published since the late 18th century, are listed. Most of these belong to the series published by the Geological Survey of Italy; a considerable number also comes from monographic works or periodicals. [...]
