Barynotus, note sistematiche, nuovi sottogenere, specie e sottospecie

Nel presente lavoro viene rivista la sistematica del genere Barynotus, con descrizione del nuovo sottogenere Margaritius (specie tipo B. fairmairei Tournier, 1876), della nuova specie B. monguzzii, diffusa nelle Prealpi centrali dalle Orobie ai Monti Lessini, affine a B. mainardii Solari, 1943 ma distinto da questo per la diversa conformazione del rostro e dei genitali ♂♂, e della nuova sottospecie B. mainardii alpicola, delle Prealpi Bellunesi. Vengono poi fornite chiavi per la determinazione dei gruppi di specie del genere e per quella delle specie del gruppo di B. unipunctatus.
